Antep cheese curd, which is unique to the Gaziantep region and also called “pisken” or “kelle” in Gaziantep, is a semi-skimmed cheese that is boiled, matured in brine and consumed. It is easily dispersed in the mouth and its color is between gray and white. It is famous for the squeaking sound felt during chewing. It is completely cow's milk. It is obtained from the milk of our own farm animals. You can consume it for breakfast directly or by frying it in a pan.
